Advising
Academic Advising offers support in many areas of academic life. The deans work in conjunction with students’ faculty advisors to help students make educational plans and solve academic problems.
Academic Advising does the following and more:
• Consults with any students in need of academic assistance
• •
Oversees the Incomplete Course process
Processes withdrawals, leaves of absence, and readmissions and reinstatements
Prepares Deans’ Lists and Course Commendations
Supports special advising areas: Health Professions and Pre-Law
• Provides support for the Honor
Commission •
• Provides services for students with disabilities
• Oversees the Peer Learning program
• Oversees academic progress and deficiency reports
